Asset attachments - add hierarchy folder structure

Would like to add a folder/hierarchy structure for file attachment organization and use. We attach several files/year to single assets and would like to organize into something similar as a folder or header sections to better facilitate finding files and keeping information organized. Over time we could potentially have dozens or more of file attachments that need to be kept for compliance and maintenance history.
