Assign Geospatial Coordinates to assets
Would like to be able to assign geospatial coordinates (Latitude and Longitude) to assets WITHOUT the use of a physical address. For linear assets and remotely located assets on landowner property, there are not physical addresses that can be used (i.e. transmission lines that run through fields and woodlands). Would like to be able to eventually connect our company's geospatial information system to the assets. The Lat & Long fields should be able to be populated independently and provide a location on a mapping application based on the Lat & Long. coordinates.
I think this will be very helpful to have it at the asset level, for reporting and later to use other tools as Power BI.
Could the coordenated come from when creating a WO or a MR as they come int eh Maintenance Request area? or update coordenates from mobile app when tech in on site? Will be great.
Attributes on assets can be made actionable. We are already using attributes to make the integration to ArcGIS possible.
