One-click to start work order and timer
Would like the option to automatically start the timer when work order og work order line changes status to in-progress. Then it could also automatically stop before allowing the change to finished.
There are simply too many clicks needed to finish a work order today and we have issues that our users do not know or forget to start the timer.
We are planning to add a big button "Start work" and "Stop work" (after it is started) which will automatically move the work status and possibly lifecycle state as well as start a timer. Stopping will then register your hours spent and transition to completed status and state.
The idea is that if there is nothing requiring user input, all those transitions will happen automatically, e.g. work order actual start and end will be automatically set.
