Released product description searchable on Mobile App
This would be useful as it gives the user the ability to search by even more fields. It could be added to the existing search bar's query. Additionally there are use cases where a vendor/ manufacturer part number is put in the description so it will help users search by the vendor part. Otherwise, users may know it's a bearing but not know other details in the field and this gives them ability to get close without knowing the exact part #.
Confirmed, descriptions for items will be shown as part of the 2407 release. Enjoy.

We have updated the search result to include the description field, which makes it possible to show the description on mobile. Expected release is 2407. Will update later.
Example of our released product PRODUCT NAME & DESCRIPTION in D365
when adding an item registration; The current search does search on: Product Name, Description & Search Name but it only displays the PRODUCT NAME which is limited to 60 characters! it would be great if it showed the DESCRIPTION field when selected on so the engineer can check the much longer main description & if this could also show the image that would be a bonus!
