After creating Job type variants with associated job type defaults for repeatable work (such as gear box rebuilds, for example), there is no "Job Library" created that would identify these job plans outside of searching Job type variants and the Job type defaults table. Looking for a reference box at possibly the asset level that would indicate the presence of a Variant, job type and defaults that may apply. The thought here is that if we create a large amount of variants and job defaults, that over time the planner may lose visibility into what is available or the combination that will drive the proper defaults. I don't think I have an overall solution to this but wanted to put the great minds of Dynaway on the path. One option may be to provide visibility on the Asset types+Manufacture+Model?
Mads,
I have tried this but the system processes the request for quite some time and times out eventually (> 20 minutes), I have not been able to get this to function? Is this maybe associated with a license or feature that we may not be utilizing? If you would like, we could do a brief call to discuss?

Hi Chris,
Many thanks for your input. Today there is a menu item 'Maintenance job types' which gives users an overview of all jobs set up for an asset. It even has the added feature of giving a warning if the job type default combination is missing.
The idea described seems to be a bit different, yes?
